Dr. Joseph Friedlander

Being a veterinarian has been my dream since high school. Upon graduating from veterinary school I worked in a small animal practice in Monmouth County. I joined Adamston Veterinary Clinic in 1992 and became a partner the following year. In 2007 my partners retired and I became sole owner of AVC where I enjoy the daily variety general practice has to offer. My wife, Loreen and I have a daughter and 3 sons. We share our home with our dog, cat, 2 birds and a bunny.

I grew up in Toms River, NJ. I started in the veterinary field as a technician at Adamston Vet in 1992. I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to attend veterinary school. I worked for two years at a small animal hospital in Cary, North Carolina after graduation. I then got married and moved back to New Jersey. When I'm not working I love spending time with my son, my husband and all our family and friends. I live in Brick NJ. with my husband, Mark and son, Colton. We have two dogs: Jetta, our Rottweiler and Zaara, our mastiff. Both dogs were rescues and are wonderful family members.
